New WoW-Cinematic: Elune and Tyriandes most important decision
A new Cinematic Inworld of Warcraft shows what happens to Tyrande Wisperwind. The power of Elune reaches its peak.
In World of Warcraft a new week has begun and thus the next chapter of the pact campaign of patch 9.1 chains of domination. This time everything revolves around Tyrande the night warrior. In the end, there is a significant cinematic that answers some questions - but also poses new questions.
Spoiler warning: If you do not want to know anything about Tyrandes fate and your connection to Elune, should not read more. You were warned.
What's going on at Tyrande? Tyrande has been encouraged since the fire of Teldrassil the revenge. She has performed an old ritual and has since been the night warrior. That makes them tremendously strong, but at the same time ensures that this makes them more and more destroyed from inside and ultimately lead to their death. The players as well as the inhabitants of the Arden forest are looking for a rescue possibility.
When plays the Cinematic? In the current pact campaign quest, the player seeks to the side of Lady Mondberry and other characters after former night warers who died. Together with their help, all then travel in the Ardenwald to perform a ritual in which Elunes Zorn should be suppressed in Tireande to free them from the destructive energies. The ritual manifies badly than right and it comes to fight. The Night Warrior must be defeated in the fight.
At the last moment, Lady moonberry implies the help of the winter queen - this appears promptly.
What happens at Cinematic? In Cinematic, the winter queen has just used its power to curb Tyrande. But already the first seconds make it clear: the winter queen does not speak with Tyrande, but with Elune, her sister. She is upset that Elune dares to Ardenwald after she has disregarded the cry for help.
Elune (in shape of Tyrande), on the other hand, replied that one would not have disregarded the reputation. She would have used the "big tragedy" as well as possible to help her sister. Thus, she plays on the whole souls of the night elves who died in the fire of Teldrassil. Elune wanted to send them into the Ardenwald to provide the winter queen with Anima.
The Winter Queen explains sadly that it did not work - all souls are hiked directly in the Schlund.
Then Elune sadly recognizes that she has apparently condemned her "favored children".
The winter queen explains that there is still a possibility to save the souls - and with a soul must begin: that of Tyrande.
Elune leaves Tyrande the decision to do what she wants to do: renewal or revenge.
Tyrande evidently decides on renewal, because the process creates a "tear of Elune" - a powerful artifact, which will later be used to renew the heart of the forest and the seal of the nightfare.
It ends that Tireande is freed from the destructive power of the Night Warrior. Whether you can continue to rely on the "positive" aspects, but is not quite clear.

What does the cinematic mean? Cinematic reveals a whole lot. On the one hand, the "family relationships" are finally clarified - the winter queen is the sister of Elune. While the Winter Queen watches over death, Elune is responsible for the realm of the living. At the same time, the video shows that Elune did not know that the souls are directed directly into the Schlund. She had no idea of Sylvanas' plan or the cheater master.
That may work for some strange, but fits together with the rest of the narrative. After all, the pact leader have only learned against the end of Revendreth story that Denathrius and the Chairman are allied and made sure that the souls and thus the Anima hiking directly into the Schlund.
What do you think about the new Cinematic? Pretty cool and a great development? Or does you belong to the people who also find this Cinematic again underground?
