Destiny 2 Pinnacle weapons after their prim

Bungie detailed a number of future changes in Desty 2 with Shadowkeep during a recent publication in a blog, one of them being the elimination of pinnacle weapons. Bungie followed the power of these weapons and reached the conclusion that they were too powerful to be properly balanced with other weapons. The ritual weapons will replace them and they will be unlocked via quests. Shadowkeep versions of October 1st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, as well as Destiny 2, will be available on Google Stadia as soon as it launched in November.

Bungie considers that peak weapons are problematic because they channeled the players to the best weapons while the best weapons of the Live version of Destiny 2 for PVE are acquired in PVP. They explained that the title of "Pinnacle" defined various unrealized expectations and that these weapons were supposed to be an impressive novelty rather than the summum of the legendary power.

Destiny 2 will be disconnected for 24 hours from September 30 to 10 hours for Bungie to make the necessary changes to the game client. Some of the changes in difficulty PVE include immunity to damage for enemies of 100 levels of power or more Above the player. Upper level enemies are becoming more and more difficult to kill 10 to 100 levels of power. Nameplate icons on top-level fighters will indicate how much they are more difficult than players, probably similar to the yellow, orange and red system.

The display of the number of PVE damage is being revised and large damage numbers are used with fewer numbers to improve the readability of the damage. The curve used to calculate these numbers has been replaced by a new linear curve, apparently built to last for many years. The objective of Bungie is to reduce or completely eliminate the damage capped at 999 999. These modifications are strictly based on the IU and will not radically change the time needed to kill, DPS or blows to kill.
