N64 controller prototype discovered and analyzed

The Millennium Games will probably recognize Nintendo 64 as one of their first consoles. The controller was interesting to say the least. It looked like something that Ecalaman will emplace with someone. The most recognizable features include three-branch handles and the delay bomb of a game joystick; This thing has about 1,000 rotations on average before it is broken. Apparently, it was not the first time Nintendo tackled the controller. An N64 controller prototype appeared and presents technical differences that encourage us to question the controller who could have been.

The user of Twitter @Shanebattye took a pile of photos from the controller and dissected it for all of us. The first difference that has been noticed was the thread. The controller we know had a circular port that can accommodate three pins, while the prototype used an RJ11 connector. Most of you know it as a grip for a wired phone, which is a very strange choice. The following difference was the joystick. It had a much larger surface with a concave handle as an Xbox One controller. It also had notches around the rim to help specify the direction in which it was directed. If you remember correctly, the N64 controller with which we grew up similar grooves inside the socket.

An Ultra 64 Controller Thread Prototype ...

It contains a very different key from the final version and has been published for the first time in a photo of press release in black and white next to the Ultra 64 (# Nintendo64) in 1995. So, do we open and Let's see what's inside ... Pic.twitter.com/lj3phszoeq

On the underside, the Z button is a little different. Instead of a button similar to a trigger, it looks more like something that a malfalling businessman would have under his office to activate a hatch. It's also smaller. Shane Battye wanted to further dissect the joystick, but feared irreversible damage and wanted to pass the controller to a game test. We do not know if the joystick is better or not. All the rest looks like the same thing.
