10 tips about New World, which I would like to know

The MMONEW WORLD is currently hosting an open beta and many players are already eager to test. We from Meinmmo have put together 10 tips that can be very helpful for entry into the game.

What is it here? In this article we have collected tips and tricks to New World from the summer event of 2020. The article originally appeared on August 29 2020 and was easily adapted for the Open Beta on 9 September 2021. Among other things, we have the tip for faster locomotion with the life rod and set new links.

1. Try all the weapons early

There are no classes in New World. Instead, your weapons determine which skills you have, and your equipment gives you suitable (or not matching) values. In addition, you can distribute attribute points with every level-up.

Until Level 20 you can reset your distributed points for free. That's why it's ideal for all weapons and also different skills, after all, you have no losses.

Levels is recommended to attack opponents with a ranged weapon to have a first advantage. Many opponents attack you in close combat, therefore a melee weapon is useful. So that you can directly find you as a newcomer, we have put together some beginner builds here:

2 . Uses campfire for the Respawn

Each player can place his campfire almost everywhere in the world. This is cheap and offers you the opportunity to craft your current location. But the campfire still has a much more important function.

It can be used as a place for the Respawn.

So if you know that you collect and reserve a great challenge in the environment, where you can die you, you should place your campfire early on early.

3 . Decide for a group and join a company

Between Level 10 and 13 you will learn the three factions in the game and should connect one of them:

Marauder - a faction reminiscent of pirates. Here is a lot about freedom, instead of power. Covenant - these are crosswitter, which focus on the fight against evil and the Corrupted. Syndicate - a faction of alchemists who lay their focus on potions and magic.

Only after you have connected to a group, you can start your own company or join one. But that should be absolutely, after all, New World is a MMO and the power with many players just more fun.

You can also conquer or defend a festival with you. Participation in a PVP war in New World is already directly possible with the accession to the group.

4 . Collects everything and disassembled it

New World sets a system with its inventory. If you wear too much with you, you will slower. Also the finished equipment that gives her with you, burden the inventory. But you can handle that very easily.

Just use right mouse button + the S button and the finished equipment is already disassembled. This will give your materials with which you can repair your current equipment.

As a rule of thumb, the equipment is weaker than your and worth selling the sale in the AH, then you disassemble immediately.

In principle, however, you should get everything on the way, what you can find, since you can make your first new equipment.

5 . Uses the camps in the cities

Another tip to avoid unnecessary inventory weight is the storage of raw materials in cities. Although these objects are only in this special settlement, but the cool is that you can automatically resort to the stored items for crafting there.

So you do not have to get out of the camp again, unless you want to change the place.

6 . Always create ammunition and food

In the course of your adventure you will always fill your inventory with arrows, ammunition for guns and various food. However, if you create these items, do not take any more inventory away, even if you do not want to use the arrows.

A useful tip to save a bit of space.

7 . More bags are available with higher level

One last tip for the inventory revolves around other pockets. This will automatically shut down if you reach the steps 30 and 45. So should you stand shortly before these milestones, pulled them through to carry something more on the way.

8th. This is how the fast travel works

In New World you can quickly travel to a settlement if you want to save long runways. Just opens the card, selects the respective settlement and click on fast travel.

However, every trip costs Azoth, a currency in New World, with the exception to a settlement that will be fixed as a home, as with the relaxation in WoW. But that has an hour CD. Azoth in turn can be earned by defeating heavy opponents or by participating in the World Events against the Corrupted.

9 . More XP by PVP

If you want to be a bit more risky in New World, you can activate the optional PVP. This allows other players to attack you, but you get 10% more experience at all your activities.

But it ensures that you can only enable and deactivate the PVP in settlements.

10 . For the Housing, your area levels need

To enlarge your storage space in cities or simply to build your own home, New World offers an interesting Housing system. To own your own house, you have to reach the level 15 in the area.

Then you can buy 1 house per area and 3 houses in total in the game. However, every house costs weekly maintenance, which can be sometimes expensive.
