World Association confirms extension of Germany

The 2015 UCI Road Globe Championships occurred in Richmond, Virginia, United States from September 19-- 27, 2015. It was the 88th Roadway Globe Championships. Peter Sagan won the males s roadway race as well as Lizzie Armitstead won the women s road race.

The tour will be held from 24 to 28 August 2022. The World Association UCI confirmed the appointment, announced the organizer on Friday. The race starts in the coming year on a Wednesday with a prologue in an still to be named place. The last stage ends on Sunday in Stuttgart. With each discharge, we go a step further. The prologue will be an exciting element for the professional race and brings the viewers a very new tour experience, said organizer Claude Rach. This year, the round trip led over four stages from Stralsund to Nuremberg, Nils Polit from Team Bora-Hansgrohe won the overall standings. The next edition will probably take place primarily in the south.
