What is more complicated, Cuphead or Hollow Knight?
Indie games often exceed AAA games in quality and fascinating. This is due to interesting stories, premise and gameplay of these games. But one thing that can also be attributed to indie games is their complexity. Among them are two games that fans consider it truly difficult: Cuphead and Hollow Knight. But this can make you think which of these games is more complicated.
Cuphead or Hollow Knight is more difficult?
Ultimately, the answer will depend on which genre of the game you better understand and whether you want to go through everything that the game can offer. But in general, Hollow Knight can be considered more complicated game . Boss battles are the main part of this difficulty rating, and Hollow Knight has several really terrifying bosses.
This does not mean that Cuphead has no problems with bosses, since Devil and King Dice can be extremely complex. The own radiance of the hollow knight, the King of the Grimm Nightsmares and the true radiance are absolutely monstrous trials, requiring accurate calculation of time, remembering their models of attack and the correct combination of spells.
Another thing that should be taken into account is navigation around the world and determining where to go, secrets and much more. Like a metro-vanning, Hollow Knight has an advantage here compared to the Cuphead level system. In Hollow Knight it is easy to get lost or forget where you need to go, which gives him another point.
All this, as they say, depends on individual player to determine what is more difficult. We believe that Hollow Knight is the most difficult of the two games, since it may be extremely difficult to complete everything that the game can offer. Nevertheless, both games are considered the most difficult to pass, but, in the end, we give Hollow Knight the advantage of complexity. This may change with the release of DLC for Cuphead or Hollow Knight: Silksongs.
